Camerino, Fiastra, Pievebovigliana. L’Oasi di Polverina è costituita da 241 ettari di zona umida formatasi con la creazione del bacino artificiale alimentato dal Chienti. L’oasi, gestita da Legambiente in collaborazione con l’Associazione Propolverina, durante la stagione migratoria offre lo spettacolo di numerose specie di uccelli.

The oasis of Polverina includes the municipalities of Camerino, Fiastra and Pievebovigliana and is made up of 241 hectares of wetlands, formed when the artificial lake, fed by the river Chienti, was created. Black and white poplar, a few alders and numerous species of willow (red willow, fragile willow,etc.) In those parts where the water is stagnant, there are bullrushes and reeds. The oasis is managed by Legambiente in collaboration with the local Propolverina , and is, prior to their departure for warmer climes, a stopping place for many species of migratory bird, such as the peregrine falcon and western marsh harrier.
